How Australia must use the PageUp data breach to become stronger
James TurnerPageUp People, a successful Australian software-as-a-service vendor, has been the victim of a crime, with a data breach that could be extremely damaging for its prospects. There are two lessons for the industry that are worth drawing particular attention to.
The first lesson is that we need the victim to survive. Once PageUp is safely through this incident, one of the most valuable things its executives can do for the industry is to share their experiences and the lessons learnt.
