PARIMA Resilience Week 2022

The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) is delighted to bring a different twist to the PARIMA Conference – Resilience Week 2022 happening on 7-10 November...

This year, we will be leveraging on both digital and physical platforms to experience the best of both worlds, which will see a comeback of our in-person Conference in Singapore and a series of #GoLocal2022 sessions focusing on selected local markets.

The pandemic, its domino effect on digitalisation, the increasing intensity & frequency of natural disasters attributed to climate change and their impacts on businesses globally have put a spotlight on how interrelated risks are. This has triggered an increased awakening on how corporations, societies and governments should work together in solidarity to become more resilient against risks. Hence, this year’s theme is ‘Collective Resilience’, with the intent to promote mutual exchange of knowledge and collaborative action in the risk community as we continue to adapt to this everchanging environment.

After two years deep in the pandemic, we are proud to welcome everyone back to our flagship inperson Conference at Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore on 10 November 2022. This will feature sessions on Climate Change, Geo-politics, State of the Market, Parametric Insurance, Cyber Risks, Mental Wellness, Employee Benefits Financing, Captive Insurance and Mega Trends among many others, led by senior risk professionals, industry leaders, and experts. PARIMA is working to make the most out of this opportunity to promote engagement within the risk community while still making it a safe environment for the attendees.

This will be complemented by our #GoLocal2022 programme, bringing you six Country Focus sessions from 7-8 November covering localised topics specific to China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand to help address the needs of risk managers from each region. Some of the topics include D&O Insurance, People Risks, Climate Change, and more. Sessions will be held via an interactive online platform, with sessions open to both risk professionals and the market.

Attending the PARIMA Resilience Week 2022 are senior risk professionals from corporations such as INPEX Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, BMW Brilliance Automotive, Rolls-Royce, Deutsche Bank, International Finance Corporation, Lazada Group, Minor Hotel Group Limited, PETRONAS, Qisda Corporation, CP Group, Ayala Corporation, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc., National University Health System, and more.
