In Asia, there is heightened awareness of the risks involved in environmental damage and regulators across the region are placing an increased emphasis on environmental liabilities. Risk managers must be aware of these different regulatory landscapes and follow closely the development of new regulations. This session aims to introduce the Singapore environmental regulations framework, the types of environmental risks that can be transferred via pollution liability insurance and what risk managers from different parts of the region can learn from this.
