Aspiring Risk Professionals to make an impact in their field of focus.
In the long-term, I would aspire to provide risk consultancy services beyond my employer, such as setting up my bespoke consultancy, or even provision of board guidance, to any organisation looking to develop a 360 view and approach to their risk management, which should encompass the relevant risk domains, aspects, and strategies for their industry and operational context. I do also see myself continuing to contribute and develop the risk management profession alongside my career as a risk manager, be it through sharing my own experiences and perspectives, or even being a mentor to others.
My aspiration is to become a CRO or an equivalent role and I am seeking for a mentor who isn’t necessarily a career risk management professional to provide guidance on alternative pathways.
I would like to deepen my understanding of risk management and carve a career in this line of work.
